I can't see too well. Is that a V6 or a 4 banger??

V6 Buick Dauntless engine. I'm going to give it another try later this winter. I think rebuilding the carburetor could be the difference in getting it to start. If that doesn't do it, I'll have to decide whether I want to rebuild the engine or strip it to the frame and turn it into a wagon. I only paid $100.00 for it, so I won't be out much either way. I'm currently leaning towards still getting it running. It needs a new floorboard, there's 2x4s under the drivers seat. I want to get a flatbed on the back to haul stuff around the yard with it and then get a snow blade on the front.

I switched gears and am working on my mom's CJ2A. I think the next trip over there I can get it to fire up.

That's an oil breather. I didn't think they were still being used in cars in 1969.

How is the project going Harold. One of my old college teachers were in the store today and she brought out the 45 JP out with the matching trailer. It is Camo green and looks exactly like it did in 1945.

The CJ2A is just sitting in the garage. I had to take a break from it after it didn't start up this winter. We'll get back in to it when it warms up a little more. The Jeepster is is either going to sit as is or I'll strip it down, save the engine and tranny, and then turn it into a wagon. There's a slight chance we might get it running, but I really don't know right now.
