Description
I'm working on a 1956 Chevy. I've had it repainted and a new interior done. There has been a lot of new chrome added along with new wheels and tires.

VERY nice!

I had forgotten what year you had. My step dad is restoring a 1956 Chevy too. He hasn't worked on it for a year after having to deal with some cancer.

Slick 56 you have , Been my all time favorite of the tri 5's.
I tried to buy my buddies 56 back in 86 , his had factory air and the original nickel plated factory headers , a rare car in-deed , he sold it to a kid that turned it into a drag car and is long gone now .

Was a big mistake on his part \:\(

This had been a drag strip car when I bought it about 25 years ago. We drove it as a street car then. Later on we had kids and left it set in a barn probably 10 years until about a year and a half ago.

I had a 57 at one time, but I like the lines of the 56 better. Just a personal opinion. I think the 57s are probably more popular, but not as many 56s around.

Thanks for the comments, I hope to have it running in a few weeks and get some shots with it outdoors. I have a new distributor and coil to put on in a few days...
