Description
We had some problems with the car stalling after running for about 5 minutes. We changed the fuel filter back at the tank and things seemed to have straightened out now. Will have to wait and see how it goes. So, any way, I'm driving the 56 to town and back about twice a week. Still things to work on, but thought I would post a couple of pictures in the sunlight so readers could see the real color. Tried to add the pictures to the other post, but couldn't get it done, so just started another post. Hope nobody minds.

Sorry, I tried again to add pictures, but unable to do so. Guess you can click the link to see the two images.

It's a 350 with a mild cam, an Edlebrock aluminum manifold, Holley dual line, Accel coil and distributor, headers, chrome valve covers. The engine compartment was cleaned up, but not painted the color of the car. It's black and not as nice as I would have liked it, but it's a driver and not a show car. The car also has a 4 speed transmission.

Thanks for the comments guys. My son and I are working on it a little bit at a time. We need a radio in the interior for when we get tired of listening to the engine running. Maybe we will order one pretty soon. Below is a picture of Brent, my son, inside the car so you can see how the interior turned out.

Oh, and I'm planning on getting a new steering wheel, but can't make up my mind on what to order. I'm considering a Billet Specialties, Psycho with a half wrap light gray and small bowtie horn button.

Any suggestions on anything similar and maybe a little cheaper. With the adapter and everything it is $370 plus shipping and tax.

Not bad but I have never been a fan of the Billet Specialties wheels. I am more of a fan of the Grant stuff like this:

I went ahead with the Billet Specialties Pyscho Wheel. It went on easily and I only had to modify the turn signal canceling bracket to make everything work. It was a simple installation.

New Steering Wheel on 56

The gray color goes well with the color of the interior, really better than the picture shows.
