That thing is as cute as a bugs ear, the exo cage has to worth more than the whole truck. Did they show what motor is going into it yet? I was hoping to see a VW turbo diesel or a Ford DOHC 427, now that would be X-treme.

I couldn't figure out why they were going to slice the body apart after putting the exo-cage over the outside.

I wouldnt have cut off the body panals. Thats one thing I dont really like about that show is that they ALWAYS build trail rigs. They need to throw a street legal truck in there once in a while, they've only built 3 street-legal trucks. Anyways, its still one of my favorite shows

I wouldn`t put that much work into a Suzuki but to each their own.

That build was not really that hard to do.....linking up a truck that small and only using stock internals in the axles made it pretty easy.

As for cutting the body panels, you really don't have that much choice when you stretch a wheelbase like that.

As for the street legal trucks, the Gorilla is street legal, and with a trailer, what else do you need?

Ian, I checked your website and it didn`t say a word about the powerplant in the Sami, so whats up?
I admit I have been missing the show but the weather has finally cooled off a bit and its nice to be outside on the weekends.
A friend of mine bought a Sami new in 86, that winter I tried it out in a parking lot doing donuts in the snow. What an underpowered turd, it would only spin the tires in first gear - in the snow. Suzuki claimed it put out 60 some HP, my Harley puts out 75.
Please tell me you jerked the pitiful lame assed engine out of there.

Well Ian, I meant like pickup trucks like the dodge and '07 f-350 you did. BTW, if jessi didnt tell ya, I saw that '07 F-350 with all the Kelderman graphics on it, it lookes very cool. Yeah, I did like the Gorilla, that was cool
