I've love to own a beefy little Ford Ranger for 4x4 purposes. On the Ford forum I go to one man put a 300 Inline Six in a older Ranger, 4x4. It was a tough little buggy. Probably the only Ranger with the Big Six in it ever.

Those inline sixes were good engines. I've driven a couple.
