I have two Java's listed in a computer:

Java(TM) 6 update 3 @ 117 MB
J2SE Runtime Environment 5. update 3 @ 111 MB

Do I need both of these? Dealing with small memory it sure would help if I could delete something!

On this computer I see I have two also:

J2SE Development kit 5.0 Update 6 283 MB
2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 6 152 MB

Java -- 1.5 shots of baileys and some cream 'de' mint whipped cream.

Oh wait computers forget it. I'll take the booze.

CTRL ALT DELETE and check to see what is hogging the memory.

That is a good idea. I need to get more memory for that ole beasty.

I thought that the memory thing was all that was needed on my old computer until I had seen the prices of new versus putting in more memory. I now have a laptop.
