The guys bring in a professional engine builder for the 4.6 liter in the '64 Comet. It's a great show for us Ford lovers.

Too bad you guys can't hear that thing running on the dyno- It sounds Awesome! Sean Hyland is the guy who built it. This guy is a never-ending supply of info on all things Ford, especially the mod motors! He also builds some wicked pushrod Fords. Check out his website. There's also an interview with him on the Powerblock website. We're putting the suspension under the Comet right now, getting the ride height set, etc... I can't wait to hammer this thing at the track!!!

Yeah, I noticed that motor has dual-overhead cams, not going for era-correct!!!

Not exactly period-correct, but it sure looks bitchin'! I like the fact that it's a very lightweight motor that makes killer power for its size, and the heads look like old Hemi heads. I mean, C'mon- the thing made 491 horsepower with 5.0 litres, whereas the 409 in the Impala barely made that much!

His shop is only about 1.5 hours from me. He has built some great cars. I hope the Chevy gods are not listening but I like his Mopar cars that are the total package of handling and performance in a stock package.
